About Us  Who we are and what we do

Join us as a supporter of the Longville Lakes Arts Alliance.  Enjoy the Longville Arts Center as a teacher, student, artist, crafter or visitor.

The Longville Lakes Arts Alliance (LLAA) was formed and started operating in 2007. We received our new organization status and became a private non-profit 501(c)3 in 2009. The LLAA's mission is to create an environment in the Longville Lakes Area where the arts and crafts flourish.

Our 'Longville Arts Center' is where arts and crafts classes can be taken, and artists and crafters can display their creations.  Please stop by to see original art and craft items and the schedule of classes.  The class description & registration information can also be found here by following the links at the top of this page.

There are at least four arts/crafts expos (selling/exhibiting events) in Longville, one each month June through September, with music and/or other entertainment coordinated with the local chamber of commerce. Wine and cheese open houses at the Longville Arts
Center occur from time-to-time in the summer and fall to allow artists, crafters, members and supporters to mix and discuss the arts in a friendly setting. The LLAA emails along with the website, keep everyone informed and up-to-date on various activities and events.  This includes all the latest classes at the arts center where persons can register online or at the studio.

We invite you to join us as artists, crafters, supporters of the arts including: fine artists, sculptors, carvers, sketch artists, oil painters, musician songwriters, photographers, illustrators, graffiti artists, poets, and others.

If you live, visit or summer in the Longville Lakes area and express your creative side artistically, or support and encourage those who do, there are many ways for you to participate.
